From Long to Short – 7-Day Course

This intensive 7-day course is designed to give barbers a deeper understanding of hair and full control over a wide range of cutting techniques—from long to short styles. The course combines theory, live demonstrations, and hands-on work with models, helping you break through stagnation, improve learning speed, and stay competitive in a fast-evolving industry.

In addition to technical skills, you will also learn how to professionally photograph your work, create your own haircut collection, and use it effectively for Instagram or other social media platforms.

Course Program

Day 1 – DIMENSIONS Fundamentals

Core theories of hair manipulation and creating the desired shape.

Day 2 – Sectioning Strategies, Part 1

Techniques for long and medium-length hairstyles. Practical application to build confidence in cutting.

Day 3 – Sectioning Strategies, Part 2

Strategies for shorter hairstyles. Understanding how elevation affects the final look.

Day 4 – Transition Between Razor and Scissor Cutting

A challenge focused on fade techniques and precise razor work.

Day 5 – Taper & Work on Longer Hairstyles + Photography

Participants bring a model with longer hair to apply all learned techniques.

Main focus: applying different techniques on longer hair (shortest taper).

You will also learn how to professionally photograph a haircut and start building your own collection for Instagram or a portfolio.

Day 6 – Fade + Social Media Creativity

A systematic breakdown of the skin fade, with hands-on work on models.

Focus on creating photos and visual content for your portfolio, plus tips for effective online promotion.

Day 7 – Creative Fade + Personal Collection

Combining everything learned into a creative, high-quality fade haircut.

Completion of a mini haircut collection and strategies for using it to promote your barbering style on social media.

Additional Information

• Days 1–4: Work on mannequins (included in the price)

• Day 5: Participants bring a model with longer hair (taper technique)

• Days 6 & 7: Work on fade models (bringing your own models is recommended)

Professional Photography:

All participants receive professional photos of their models, suitable for Instagram, portfolios, or a personal collection.

The course also includes guidance on creating your own haircut collection and effectively promoting your work online.
