From Technique to Form

Formation is the natural progression from our Fundamentals workshop – an immersive, advanced-level training where technical precision evolves into artistic formation.

Over the course of four intensive days, participants will learn how to transform pure technique into full, refined haircuts. We will explore how to apply, combine and adapt core shapes to build four essential haircut designs, each executed to the highest standard.

This workshop is designed to shift the mindset from two-dimensional technique to three-dimensional form. Through this, stylists will gain a deeper understanding of:

– the interaction of shapes in space,

– the balance between structure and softness,

– and how to create haircuts that are both technically strong and visually dynamic.

Each day includes:

1. Theory – Detailed breakdown of shape combination, suitability, and spatial design.

2. Demonstration – Full step-by-step live executions of each haircut.

3. Hands-on Practice – Participants will recreate the haircuts on mannequins, applying everything they’ve learned.

By the end of this workshop, participants won’t just execute forms – they’ll design them with intent, dimension, and confidence.
